Willibrordus Church

The most beautiful church in Curaçao is the church of St. Willibrordus. This church is on the route to one of the Villas and is an impressive building.

The church is visible a few kilometers away and light at more than ten kilometers from the capital Willemstad. The church was consecrated in 1888, after which the village that was formerly called Buitenbosch. Thanks to the efforts of the Friends of Willibrordus foundation, the church which had fallen was completely renovated. The striking structure is still beautifully painted after the refurbishment.

The popular Playa Porto Marie beach is also close to St. Willibrordus. At the beach you can rent diving equipment, shower and enjoy good food in a restaurant. In addition to a hot snack, sandwiches and Dutch food, delicious cocktails are also served here.
